Allen & Heath Xone:96 Analog DJ Mixer with Audio Interface

Description:

The Allen & Heath Xone:96 is a professional 6+2 channel analogue DJ mixer designed for club DJs, touring performers, producers and demanding performance setups. Combining the legendary analogue sound of the Xone series with advanced digital connectivity, the Xone:96 provides powerful mixing, routing and performance capabilities for both traditional and computer-based DJ systems.

At the heart of the Xone:96 are four stereo input channels featuring Allen & Heath's precision 4-band EQ, giving DJs detailed control over their mixes. Two additional stereo channels feature a new 3-band parametric EQ, while two auxiliary stereo return channels provide additional flexibility for external effects and other equipment.

The mixer features dual Xone:VCF voltage-controlled filters with selectable high-pass, band-pass and low-pass response. Each filter includes adjustable frequency and resonance controls, along with CRUNCH, a controlled harmonic distortion effect that adds extra character and energy to the sound. The filters can be assigned to the main input channels for creative performance mixing.

For digital DJ setups, the Xone:96 includes two independent 24-channel USB soundcards, each providing 6 stereo inputs and 6 stereo outputs. Operating at 32-bit/96kHz, the integrated USB interfaces provide high-quality audio connectivity between the mixer, computers and DJ software. The soundcards also support DVS control and are Traktor Scratch certified.

The Xone:96 is designed for complex DJ performances and back-to-back sets. Two independent headphone cue systems allow two DJs to monitor independently, while dedicated booth outputs with 3-band EQ provide precise control over the monitoring system.

External effects and instruments can easily be integrated using the mixer's two stereo sends, four stereo returns and dedicated master insert. Send 1 can be switched between Line and Hi-Z level, making it suitable for connecting a wide range of external effects equipment, including guitar pedals and other instrument-level devices.

The Xone:96 also provides MIDI and X:Link connectivity for integrating controllers and external MIDI equipment. X:Link allows compatible Xone:K controllers to connect directly to the mixer, helping save USB ports on a computer.

Built for demanding professional use, the Xone:96 features custom-designed 60mm linear VCA channel faders and an Innofader Mini crossfader with adjustable curve settings. Its familiar Xone layout and robust construction make it a reliable centerpiece for club booths, touring rigs, studios and advanced DJ setups.

Whether you are mixing vinyl, CDJs, DVS, software decks, external effects or hybrid instruments, the Allen & Heath Xone:96 delivers a powerful combination of analogue sound, hands-on control and professional digital connectivity.
