The CQ-12T provides 13 inputs to mix, including 10 mono/linkable channels and 3 stereo channels. Its analogue connectivity includes 5 XLR mic/line inputs, 5 XLR/TRS Combi mic/line inputs, and a dedicated stereo line input, providing flexible connections for microphones, instruments, playback devices, and other audio sources.

Designed to make mixing faster and easier, every input channel can operate in Quick Channel or Complete Channel mode. Quick Channel provides simplified, application-specific controls for fast setup, while Complete Channel gives experienced engineers detailed access to processing parameters. Gain Assistant helps quickly establish suitable input levels and continues monitoring during a performance, while Feedback Assistant can automatically identify and reduce problem frequencies using up to 16 filters per output.

For effects processing, the CQ-12T features two Multi-FX engines with high-quality reverb, delay, and modulation effects. Four DCAs allow multiple channels, outputs, and effects to be controlled from a single fader, while four Mute Groups make it easy to mute or unmute groups of channels simultaneously.

The CQ-12T features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with dedicated rotary control and three configurable SoftKeys for quick access to frequently used functions. The mixer can also be connected to a network and controlled remotely using the free CQ MixPad app for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.

Recording and playback are built into the CQ-12T. Its 16x16 USB-B audio interface supports multichannel recording, playback, and streaming at 48kHz or 96kHz, while the SD card slot provides multichannel recording and playback without requiring a computer. USB-A supports stereo recording and playback, and built-in Bluetooth provides convenient wireless stereo audio playback from compatible devices.

With two XLR Main outputs and six TRS monitor outputs, the CQ-12T provides flexible routing for front-of-house and monitor applications.
