The Allen & Heath CQ-18T is an ultra-compact digital mixer designed for live bands, rehearsal spaces, home recording, streaming, speech applications and corporate AV. Combining 96kHz digital processing, intuitive touchscreen control and built-in dual-band Wi-Fi, the CQ-18T delivers professional mixing capabilities in a compact desktop format.

The CQ-18T provides 19 inputs to mix, including 16 mono/linkable channels and 3 stereo channels. Its analogue connectivity includes 8 XLR mic/line inputs, 8 XLR/TRS Combi mic/line inputs and a dedicated stereo line input, giving musicians and engineers flexible options for connecting microphones, instruments and other audio sources.

Designed for fast and intuitive operation, every input channel can be switched between Quick Channel and Complete Channel modes. Quick Channel processing provides simple, application-specific controls for fast setup, while Complete Channel mode provides detailed control over EQ, dynamics and other processing parameters.

The Gain Assistant helps quickly establish suitable input gain levels and continues monitoring during a performance. The Feedback Assistant automatically detects and suppresses problem frequencies using up to 16 filters per output, helping engineers achieve stable monitor mixes with less setup time.

The CQ-18T includes 4 Multi-FX engines with a selection of reverb, delay and modulation effects. It also features 4 DCAs and 4 Mute Groups, making it easy to control groups of channels and quickly mute multiple sources during live performances.

For hands-on control, the CQ-18T features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, touchscreen rotary control, 3 configurable SoftRotaries and 3 configurable SoftKeys. Built-in dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi allows wireless control using the free CQ MixPad app for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.

The CQ-18T is also designed for multitrack recording and playback. Its 24x22 USB-B audio interface supports multichannel audio recording, playback and streaming, while the SD card slot supports up to 24x22 channels at 48kHz or 16x16 channels at 96kHz. USB-A provides stereo recording and playback, while Bluetooth provides convenient stereo audio playback from compatible devices.

With 2 XLR Main outputs, 6 TRS monitor outputs and 2 assignable headphone outputs, the CQ-18T provides flexible routing for front-of-house, monitor mixing and recording applications.
