AMPS AND SPEAKERS

Is this price for a pair?

Our speakers are generally priced for one speaker, unless specified.
When you view a product it's description will clearly state whether this is a price for a pair or single speaker:

Are these speakers suitable for my room?

How long is a piece of string? Without knowing the size, height, layout, furnishing, acoustics etc of a room it's impossible to say.

What does 8 ohm 400 watts RMS mean?

There are many different way to specify the power handling of amplifiers and speakers.

"8 ohm 400 watt" is just one way of specifying the power handling of a speaker, and is used to match the speaker to the amplifier.

For example, a speaker which states 8 ohm 400 watt RMS would be suitable for matching with an amplifier which states "output: 400 watts into 8 ohms", but too big for an amp that was "400 watts into 4 ohms"

You should match amplifiers and speakers together taking into consideration all these values.
