Fast Transients. Zero Compromise.

Powered by a 2100W onboard Class-D amplifier, EVOX J9 delivers an impressive 130 dB Max SPL output. Three equalization presets are available: Live/Linear for perfectly flat, neutral output; Club for extended lows and crisp highs; and Voice for optimized intelligibility.

Highly energy-efficient, the J9 requires no cooling fan. The amplifier is mounted on a solid aluminum heat exchanger at the rear of the unit and has no moving parts. Mechanically coupled to the internal frame, the amplifier is securely braced within the cabinet for long-term reliability.

The input stage features a new low-distortion design with an advanced safety limiter that preserves the input signal's character at any level. EVOX J9 amplifier is designed in accordance with EN 62368-1 for maximum safety and feature a switch-mode power supply (SMPS) that combines high efficiency with minimal weight.

True 3-Way Design

Neodymium compression driver (1.75" voice coil, Kapton dome) with a True Resistive Waveguide (TRW) for a resonance-free load and constant, 120° X 40° coverage.

The forward radiation of the array of 6x3" neodymium drivers, combined with the centered waveguide, delivers a balanced point-source response.

12" RCF transducer provides deep, controlled low frequencies, ideal for bass-heavy music and high-energy performances.

SUB AX ACE Presets for EVOX J

When extended, impactful low-end is required, simply add an RCF subwoofer. ACE-enabled models, starting from the SUB AX Series, include dedicated integration presets for EVOX systems, ensuring perfect tuning at the touch of a button. RCF's Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE) precisely adjusts time delay and phase to optimize power and impact of the system.

Variable Height Configuration

Black or white finishes, refined design, premium-grade materials, and ergonomic details that maximize portability while preserving the EVOX family's sleek, familiar look. An included lightweight aluminum-alloy distance pole with integrated connections separates the top from the subwoofer; an optional half-size pole extension is available. The heights of J9 and JMIX9 are configurable, ranging from a zero-offset (column array attached to the bass enclosure) to a combination of full-length and half-length poles.

Quick Setup. Ready to Play.

Available in black or white, EVOX J9 includes a lightweight aluminum-alloy pole that links the column to the subwoofer and integrates all required connections for fast setup. Height is configurable: mount the column at standard height with the full-length pole, place it at zero offset directly on the bass enclosure, or raise it with full- or half-length pole extensions.

Ready for the Road

Every EVOX system includes a padded column transport bag for essential protection. To complete your setup, add an aluminum pole extension for quick, flexible height adjustments (available in half- and full-height options). For enhanced transport and storage, choose the optional protective subwoofer cover or the trolley-style cover with wheels for easy mobility.

Bass Motion Control®

EVOX J speakers equipped with Bass Motion Control (BMC) deliver the lowest audible frequencies without compromising woofer stability, with extended linearity and improved sound integrity. The BMC method creates a complete map of the woofer's dynamic behavior to generate a custom algorithm that limits overexcursions. Traditional high-pass filters protect the woofer from over-excursion but change the phase/frequency response. In contrast, the new BMC algorithm protects the woofer while enabling full freedom in signal reproduction.

New perspective on linearity

EVOX J loudspeakers are engineered with proprietary FiRPHASE processing to deliver transparent sound, exceptional clarity, and precise imaging. FiRPHASE optimizes phase response across the listening area, helping provide consistent coverage and a natural transient response while maintaining low system latency. The algorithm refines the transducer transfer function and, where needed, corrects amplitude, reducing the effects of cabinet-related resonances and acoustic cancellations.
