JBL EON615 Powered 15-Inch PA Speaker

Since their introduction in 1995, JBL's revolutionary, multi-patented EON speakers have been a real game changer for the speaker industry. In a landscape that was dominated by heavy speaker cabinets that required power from weighty power amps, EON speakers turned the game on its head with great sounding lightweight cabinets containing built-in power. That was over twenty years ago and, as technology advanced, things have only improved.

The new award-winning EON600 Series takes a giant leap forward as JBL's engineers wipe the slate clean to reinvent EON. Building on the EON legacy of an affordable, self-contained PA system, suitable for a wide variety of uses, JBL's redesign of the EON platform utilizes advanced waveguide technology and JBL designed and manufactured transducers to create the next phase in EON evolution.

The exciting EON615!

Weighing in at a mere 39 lbs., JBL's EON615 is a self-powered 15", two-way speaker designed to provide high quality audio reproduction in a variety of applications. Optimized for ideal acoustic resonance, the new design of these injection-molded enclosures results in a massive increase in volume - a maximum SPL Output of 127 dB!

Power

There's plenty of it, regardless of your application. Driving the custom JBL high and low frequency transducers is a built-in 1000-watts of class D muscle. The two amps combine to unleash enough juice (700W LF + 300W HF) to pump out that 127 dB with super low distortion at any frequency. Whether it's for a permanent installation or a traveling band, you'll feel comfortable knowing you've got that kind of brawn backing you up.

Sound

The hallmark of the EON600 Series is its sound. Custom transducers and mega-wattage don't really matter if the sound of the system isn't extraordinary - and this is where EON615 really shines, delivering the pristine sonic fidelity of a high-end studio monitor in a live sound situation.

Bluetooth Integration

Fine-tuning your system has never been easier. Just download EON Connect (iOS and Android compatible) for Bluetooth access to 3 PEQs, a Hi and Lo Shelf, delay, output mixing, and preset creation. Imagine adjusting your flown speakers in a permanent installation, tweaking your monitor EQ from behind your mic or modifying your FOH EQ from the perfect listening position.

EON Connect can control up to four EON600 speakers and can also be used to update your firmware.

Input Panel

The two mic or line selectable channels each have individual gain controls and signal presence LEDs in addition to convenient XLR-1/4 inch combination inputs. There's a master volume with a limit LED indicator and some pretty useful onboard EQ Presets to optimize the system as a main house speaker, monitor speaker, crossover contour (when used with an EON subwoofer), and a preset for speech applications. Finally, an XLR output facilitates looping to additional EON speakers.

Appointments

Thoughtful appointments include four intelligently positioned handles and integrated hardware mounts that make flying these cabinets a breeze.

The enclosure's indexed molded feet allow for stacking, positioning as a floor wedge, stand-up configuration, or pole mounting.

JBL EON 618S Powered Subwoofer

Designed to deliver class leading performance, the EON618S is a powered portable PA subwoofer in the EON600 series from JBL Professional. Musicians and performers us the EON 618S in a variety of applications with the EON tops (610, 612 or 615) and other full range systems. A lightweight, highly useful enclosure allows the speaker to be easily transported and set up wherever low frequency reinforcement is needed.
