The Allen & Heath SQ7+ is a professional 48-channel digital mixer designed for demanding live sound, touring, broadcast, recording, installations, events, and monitor mixing applications. As the largest mixer in the SQ+ range, the SQ7+ combines extensive hands-on control with a powerful 96kHz XCVI processing core, 33 motorized faders, a 9-inch touchscreen, and advanced RackUltra FX.

With 33 motorized 100mm faders, 16 assignable SoftKeys, and 8 assignable SoftRotaries, the SQ7+ provides extensive physical control for complex productions. Six customizable channel-strip layers allow engineers to organize inputs, mixes, effects, and other controls to suit their workflow.

Powerful 96kHz XCVI Processing

At the heart of the SQ7+ is Allen & Heath's 96kHz XCVI processing core, delivering high-resolution digital audio processing and ultra-low latency for professional mixing applications.

Each input channel provides a high-pass filter, gate with sidechain and filter, freely assignable insert point, 4-band parametric EQ with RTA, and Peak/RMS compressor. Mixes include parametric and 28-band graphic EQ along with compression.

DEEP Processing and RackUltra FX

The SQ7+ is DEEP Processing ready, allowing compatible processing models to run directly within the mixer without adding latency. This provides engineers with advanced processing options while maintaining the SQ+ platform's low-latency performance.

The mixer includes 8 RackExtra FX engines, each with a dedicated stereo return, plus 4 RackUltra FX engines with dedicated stereo sends and returns. RackUltra FX provides access to premium effects including reverbs, vocal tuning, pitch processing, distortion, and saturation.

33 Motorized Faders and 9-Inch Touchscreen

The 33 motorized 100mm faders provide extensive hands-on control across six customizable channel-strip layers. Channels and mixes can be assigned to different strips, allowing engineers to create a personalized mixing environment for each production.

The SQ7+ features a responsive 9-inch capacitive touchscreen with Allen & Heath's dark GUI, providing clear access to routing, processing, metering, setup, and mixer functions.

32×32 USB Audio Interface

The built-in USB-B audio interface provides 32×32 multichannel USB audio at both 96kHz and 48kHz. This makes the SQ7+ suitable for multitrack recording, playback, livestreaming, and virtual soundcheck applications.

The integrated SQ-Drive also allows direct recording and playback using a USB drive without requiring a computer or DAW. SQ-Drive supports up to 16 channels at 96kHz or 32 channels at 48kHz, as well as stereo recording and playback.

Flexible Connectivity and Expansion

The SQ7+ includes a 128×128 Intelligent SLink port for connecting Allen & Heath Everything I/O expanders, remote stage boxes, and compatible Allen & Heath consoles.

A dedicated I/O expansion slot supports optional SLink, Dante, Waves, and MADI cards, making the SQ7+ suitable for complex FOH and monitor systems, broadcast environments, installations, and professional audio networks.

32 XLR Mic/Line Inputs

The SQ7+ provides 32 XLR mic/line input sockets, giving engineers extensive local input capacity for larger live productions and installations. It also includes a dedicated XLR talkback input and stereo line inputs for additional audio sources.
