With 17 motorized 100mm faders, 8 assignable SoftKeys, and a responsive 9-inch touchscreen, the SQ5+ provides intuitive hands-on control while keeping essential mixing information easily accessible. Its compact, rack-mountable design makes it suitable for both mobile production and permanent installations.

Powerful 96kHz Processing

At the heart of the SQ5+ is Allen & Heath's 96kHz XCVI processing core, providing high-resolution digital audio processing for demanding professional applications.

Each input channel includes a high-pass filter, gate with sidechain and filter, insert point, 4-band parametric EQ with RTA, and Peak/RMS compressor. Mixes also feature parametric and 28-band graphic EQ plus compression.

DEEP Processing and RackUltra FX

The SQ5+ supports Allen & Heath DEEP Processing, allowing compatible processing models to run directly within the mixer without adding latency.

For effects, the console includes 8 RackExtra FX engines with dedicated stereo returns and 4 RackUltra FX engines with dedicated stereo sends and returns. RackUltra FX provides access to premium effects including reverbs, vocal tuning, pitch processing, distortion, and saturation.

32×32 USB Audio Interface

The built-in USB audio interface allows the SQ5+ to work as a powerful recording, streaming, and production interface.

It supports 32×32 USB audio at both 96kHz and 48kHz, making it suitable for multitrack recording, livestreaming, playback, and virtual soundcheck applications. The mixer is compatible with Mac and Windows systems.

Flexible Connectivity

The SQ5+ includes a 128×128 Intelligent SLink port for connection to Allen & Heath Everything I/O products and other compatible Allen & Heath consoles.

An expansion slot supports optional networking cards for Dante, Waves, MADI, and additional SLink connectivity, making the SQ5+ suitable for more complex live sound, broadcast, installation, and audio-networking environments.

The SQ5+ combines professional digital mixing capabilities with a compact footprint.
