The Marantz Professional PMD-100CD is a professional CD/USB media player which can play audio from CDs, CD-ROM, and removable USB drives. The unit features a front-accessible 3.5mm auxiliary input for compatible devices and a Type-A USB port for thumb drives. With such a wide array of connection possibilities, the unit is suitable both for home audio and commercial applications—including dance and fitness centers, retail settings, education scenarios, and more.

The CD player offers a superfast, slot-in CD mechanism, while the 10-key direct-track access buttons and random, repeat, and power-on-play playback modes provide a wide variety of options for easy operation. The rear panel sports a pair of balanced XLR and stereo RCA connectors ensuring compatibility with most sound systems. A USB port is also available on the back with a dedicated switch offering normal use or an update setting for firmware upgrades. The PMD-100CD includes a wireless IR remote and ships with rack ears, a power cord, and a stereo RCA cable.
