Chauvet LED Techno Strobe RGBA Safety Tips

Chauvet LED Techno Strobe RGBA is specially designed for professional use. Here are some safety precautions which are to be followed during installation and usage.

Preservation from Electric Shock:

When servicing or replacing the lamp or fuse, it is important to disconnect the AC power before initiating the task. Be sure that you fix with same lamp source.
Devices of class I should be connected with the apt Earth Ground.
Do not expose the device to rain or moisture and while operating, place it away from flammable materials.
Avoid operating the devices in case of open covers and when any internal component is missing or not in a good state.
Always ensure that the power cords are not crimped or damaged.
At no time pull or tug the power cords to disconnect them.

Protection against Fire and Burns:

This product is designed only for use with specific lamps. It has a chance to explode if used with other lamps.
Connect the strobe light to a proper voltage, with the line voltage not too high than the specified one
The installations should be done with adequate ventilation of at least 50cm from the adjacent surfaces
Sustain at least 1 meter from any combustible materials.
Allow the product to cool down for around 15 minutes before handling the lamp
• It is not advised to operate the device at temperature more than 40° which is the ambient temperature.

Protection from UV Rays:

Avoid direct exposure to the eyes when the lamp is on
Avoid operating the devices in case of open covers and when any internal component is missing or not in a good state

Protection from Injury to persons:

Install the device securely with safety chains.
A hot lamp has a chance of exploding. Allow the product to cool down for around 15 minutes before handling the lamp.
The surface of the device may reach a temperature of about 160°C. Always handle it only after allowing it to cool.
If any serious issues happen during the operation, just turn it off and never try to repair by yourself. Contact the authorized technical Assistant.
